How much experience do you have in the pool industry?
We have 40+ years of experience in the pool industry. Our founder began building pools when he was just 18! We have seen it all and can handle any pool project you need.
How long will it take to build my pool?
How long it will take to build your pool will depend on the weather and the features you want installed, but typically it takes anywhere from 8-12 weeks.
What kind of warranty do you offer?
We stand behind our work. For 1 year after the completion date, your pool is under warranty, and we will repair any defects in material or workmanship. We also offer a Limited Lifetime Structural Warranty, guaranteeing we will fix any structural cracks in the Gunite shell caused by faulty materials or workmanship.
How can I be sure everything is up to code?
At Pools Out Back, we handle everything, including obtaining proper permits. With 40+ years of experience building pools in the Texas Panhandle, we are very knowledgeable about the local building regulations. If you have any concerns, please let us know, and we can provide the proper paperwork.
Maintenance Questions
Do you do pool maintenance?
Yes! We do ongoing pool maintenance for all our customers, as well as answer any questions you may have about doing regular, daily maintenance.
Is maintenance on a pool time consuming?
Regular maintenance is a part of pool ownership, but it doesn’t have to be time consuming. We offer scheduled services and maintenance, free water analysis, and cleaning chemicals to purchase. Our team is always accessible and happy to answer any maintenance questions you may have.
Do you recommend winterizing our pool in the winter months?
If you have an outdoor pool or spa, we do recommend preparing your pool for winter when the temperature outside drops to the 60s. To prepare your pool, simply pull the plugs on all equipment, drain the plumbing, put a check valve on your system, and use the proper chemicals in the water. Our hands-on team is happy to answer any questions you may have about winterizing your pool!
Design Questions
What kind of pool is best for my home?
The best pool for you depends on the size and shape of your backyard. Luckily, you don’t have to stick to a pre-determined shape! We can customize the shape of your pool to complement your space.
What kind of special features can I add to my pool?
We offer a variety of special features for you to choose from, including built-in seating, conjoined hot tubs, intricate ledging, water features, unique pool shapes, and lighting features. If there’s anything else you have in mind, feel free to let us know and we will do our best to make your vision a reality!
Can I choose my own materials?
Yes! Every aspect of the pool is fully customizable to fit your vision and budget. If you’re not sure what you want, our expert team can make recommendations tailored to you.
Can I change or modify the original plan?
Absolutely! After our initial meeting, we will design your pool based on your wants and needs. After that, we will present the design for your review to make any necessary changes. If at any point you’d like to make changes, let us know!

The cost of your pool depends on factors like size, design, and materials. Our pools currently start at $60,000, reflecting recent price increases in the industry. We also have some more affordable options available that are not gunite.
Do you offer financing?
