At Pools Out Back, we have proudly designed and built stunning pools for Amarillo and the surrounding communities for over 40 years. Our founder, Roger, started in the pool industry at just 18. By combining his hands-on experience with an education in water biochemistry, he was able to build a reputation as a knowledgeable and trustworthy pool builder.

How long it will take to build your pool will depend on the weather and the features you want installed, but typically it takes anywhere from 8-12 weeks.
The price of your pool will depend on a variety of factors, including the size and materials you choose. We work within your budget, but be prepared to spend at least $30k.
Yes! We do ongoing pool maintenance for all our customers, as well as answer any questions you may have about doing regular, daily maintenance.
We offer a variety of special features for you to choose from, including built-in seating, conjoined hot tubs, intricate ledging, water features, unique pool shapes, and lighting features. If there’s anything else you have in mind, feel free to let us know and we will do our best to make your vision a reality!
We do not offer in-house financing. However, we are happy to recommend and connect you with local institutions that can help!
At Pools Out Back, we handle everything, including obtaining proper permits. With 40+ years of experience building pools in the Texas Panhandle, we are very knowledgeable about the local building regulations. If you have any concerns, please let us know, and we can provide the proper paperwork.
We stand behind our work. For 1 year after the completion date, your pool is under warranty, and we will repair any defects in material or workmanship. We also offer a Limited Lifetime Structural Warranty, guaranteeing we will fix any structural cracks in the Gunite shell caused by faulty materials or workmanship.
